Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time.
Focuses on soft tissue manipulation, stretching, range of motion and muscle conditioning related to sport injuries. Sports massage also helps with injury prevention and delayed onset muscle soreness.
Myodac blade therapy is a form of Graston technique used in massaging and scraping the skin gently. Breaks down scar tissues and promotes better healing for injured tissues.
MLD is a light, skin-stretching massage that helps promote the movement of lymphatic fluid out of the swollen limb. It should not be confused with a traditional massage. MLD is specifically focused on the lymph vessels to help the flow of lymphatic fluid. Therapy is applied to your unaffected areas first, making it possible for the fluid to move out of the affected area, or “decongest” the region. MLD helps open the remaining functioning lymph collectors and move protein and fluid into them, as well as to help speed up lymph fluid flow through the lymphatics.
Speeds up the healing process by reducing swelling, fluid retention and bruising, increasing the removal of cellular debris and other waste from the traumatized area. Also reduces scar formation and build-up of fibrotic nodules
Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine. It helps with pain, inflammation, blood flow and well being. It works best in conjunction with 30min. of Therapeutic massage and 30 min. cupping.
Medical massage requires a prescription from your physician with a diagnosis to treat specific area. The care is managed by your physician towards a goal. Medical massage could be covered thru your health savings account. If you have a PPO commercial insurance with massage coverage, I will inquire regarding coverage.
